Annet Mahendru

Mahendru was born to an Russian Indian mother and an Afghan Hindu father. She speaks fluent German, Russian English in addition to French Persian and Hindi. Annet Mahendru is the daughter of an Indian father and a Russian mother. At the age of 11, Annet Mahendru choreographed and danced in a show that led to the honor of a German TV appearance. The show featured a Russian-born snow maiden who transformed into a fun Indian dancer. Following her graduation from the high school level in New York, she received her bachelor of Arts degree in English from St. John's University. She studied comedy and improvisation in the Groundlings School after leaving HB Studio. Her parents were an Afghani Hindu-Indian mother and Russian father, who lived in Kabul in Afghanistan. The family moved together with their father to East Meadow, New York at the age of thirteen year old. She appears on FX's The Americans alongside Matthew Rhys. The actress is most famous for her role as the ex- KGB agent Nina Sergeevna Krilova in FX's The Americans. The actress has a regular role in The Following on Fox, The Following and NBC's The Blacklist.
